Sending stock into Amazon FBA Canada doesn’t always go to plan. A small barcode error, a mix-up on a label or returned products (defective items or customer returns) can get your whole shipment locked or refused by Amazon. Leaving the goods in Amazon’s warehouse then eats up very expensive storage fees. The best solution is to pull the stock out to an outside warehouse (a 3PL) for relabelling before sending it back to FBA.

Why do you need an Amazon FBA relabelling service?
When selling on Amazon Canada, there are many situations where you have to change a product’s labels or barcodes:
- Changing an ASIN or SKU: When you want to merge or split listings, or launch a new sales program that requires a new product identifier.
- Faded, torn or non-compliant labels: Amazon’s fulfillment centres use very strict automatic barcode scanning. A single scratch on a UPC/FNSKU that stops it scanning gets your goods classed as “Unfulfillable”.
- Customer returns: Customers return products in boxes that have been opened or with torn labels. You need to check the product’s condition, repack it and apply a new label to resell it.
- Avoiding Amazon’s high storage fees: Amazon’s long-term storage fees are very high. Many sellers pull stock out to Soleil Transportation’s outside warehouse, relabel it and then send it back to Amazon in smaller batches.
The relabelling process at Soleil Transportation’s Mississauga warehouse

Step 1: Create a removal order on Amazon
In Amazon Seller Central, create a removal order to send stock from the FBA warehouse to Soleil Transportation’s warehouse in Mississauga:
- Delivery address: 2446 Cawthra Road, B1U8, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada L5A 3K6.
Step 2: Send the new label files and detailed instructions
After creating the removal order, send us the new FNSKU label PDF or shipping labels with detailed instructions (for example, whether to cover the old label or remove it before applying the new one).
Step 3: Receive and count the goods
When the goods arrive in Mississauga, our team opens the boxes and counts the actual quantity received against your records to make sure nothing was lost while Amazon shipped it back.
Step 4: Relabel and repack
We use professional label printers so the print is sharp, smudge-free and the correct Amazon size. Each product is labelled exactly where required. Once labelled, the goods are repacked in standard cartons.
Step 5: Send the stock back to Amazon FBA
You create a new inbound shipment on Amazon and send the box labels to Soleil Transportation. We apply the box labels and hand the shipment to a domestic carrier (UPS, FedEx or Amazon’s LTL trucks) for pickup.
